Established in 1981 with an initial intake of 60 students, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) has grown remarkably over the years and now admits 264 students annually. The department has earned a strong reputation for academic excellence, innovation, and industry collaboration, producing highly skilled professionals who are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving global technology landscape.

Demonstrating consistent academic distinction, the students of the department have achieved Overall State First Rank among all branches and all colleges 12 times from 2009 to 2025. In addition, the department secured the Overall State First Rank among Private Polytechnics across all branches 14 times, and Overall State Second Rank among Private Polytechnics 11 times during the same period.
