Fee Reimbursement details:

Candidates with a total family income of ₹2.50 lakhs or less are eligible for fee exemption. Under this exemption, the Government of Andhra Pradesh will pay the college tuition fee directly to the institution on behalf of the candidate.

Scholarship Applications

    • Scholarships are linked to Aadhaar for cash transfer.
    • Students must provide their Aadhaar numbers as per Govt. Memo
      No. 16635/sw. Edn. 2/2012-4, dated 29-12-2012.
    • Candidates exempted from fee payment must apply for fee reimbursement online (via jnanabhumi/website).
    • Government orders at the time of admission will be applicable

Scholarships for Diploma Programs

a) AP State Government Scholarship: Various schemes are available for eligible students under the AP State Government’s scholarship initiatives, covering tuition fees, maintenance allowances, and other academic expenses.

b) Government of India (GOI) Scholarships:

Numerous national-level scholarship schemes are available to support  students pursuing technical and diploma programs.

Pragati Scholarship

The Pragati Scholarship is a flagship government initiative implemented by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This scheme specifically supports meritorious girl students pursuing technical education.

  • Eligibility: Girl students enrolled in AICTE-approved institutions for diploma or degree courses.
  • Benefits: An amount of ₹50,000 per annum is provided for up to 3 years (maximum).

Saksham Scholarship

The Saksham Scholarship, introduced by the Ministry of Education (MoE),formerly MHRD, is implemented by AICTE to encourage specially-abled students to pursue technical education.

Eligibility:

  1. Specially-abled students with a disability level of 40% or more.
  2. Admission in AICTE-approved technical institutions at the diploma Level.

Benefits:

  1. A lump sum amount of ₹50,000 per annum is provided for up to 3 years for first-year students
  2. Covers educational expenses, including tuition fees, books, stationery, equipment, software, and more.
  3. Hostel and medical charges are not included in this scholarship.

Swanath Scholarship

The Swanath Scholarship (under AICTE) aims to support students who have faced significant hardships in life, such as the loss of their parents due to COVID-19 or other reasons.

Eligibility:

  1. Students who have lost either or both parents or are wards of armed forces personnel martyred in action.
  2. Admission in AICTE-approved institutions for technical education.

Benefits:

  1. Financial assistance of ₹50,000 per annum is provided as a lump sum to cover tuition fees, books, equipment, and other academic expenses.
  2. Objective: To ensure no deserving student is deprived of technical education due to unforeseen tragedies.

Yashasvi Scholarship

Scheme being implemented by AICTE aims for encouraging student to pursue technical education in all core branches of Engineering i.e. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering in AICTE approved technical institutions.

Benefits:

Amount of Scholarship Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e. maximum for 4 years for first year admitted students.
