Birth of A.A.N.M. & V.V.R.S.R. Polytechnic
After the formation of the A.A.N.M. & V.V.R.S.R. Educational Society, the two chief patrons strongly desired to establish a Polytechnic to support the technological progress of the state and the nation. Their vision was to mold rural youth into skilled technicians. Through their tireless efforts, the A.A.N.M. & V.V.R.S.R. Polytechnic, Gudlavalleru, was sanctioned under the society’s sponsorship with G.O. MS. No. 620, dated 28-08-1981.
The Polytechnic was inaugurated on 13th November 1981 by its well-wisher, Sri Pinnamaneni Koteswara Rao. It later received approval from the AICTE through Lr. No. F24-64/B-III/RC(MB)/89/15916, dated 31-01-1994.
Since its inception, the Polytechnic has made significant strides in technical education, driven by the dedication and commitment of its management, principal, staff, and students, with a strong emphasis on well-coordinated efforts toward excellence.
INTAKE:
Initially, the Polytechnic offered the Engineering Diploma Courses in three courses with 180 total intake and gradually could enhance the total intake to 1584 with Seven Diploma Courses.
