Sri VALLURUPALLI VENKATA RAMA SESHADRI RAO
(1932 – 2008)
Sri Vallurupalli Venkata Rama Seshadri Rao is one of the two Founder Chief Patrons of A.A.N.M & V.V.R.S.R. Educational Society, Gudlavalleru.
He is the Co-Founder of A.A.N.M & V.V.R.S.R. Polytechnic and Founder of Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College. He served as the Founder Secretary & Correspondent of the Educational Society and, in that capacity, dedicated his life to serving the society and its institutions—the Polytechnic, the High School, and the Engineering College—since their inception until his passing on 13-08-2008.
To immortalize his invaluable contributions to self-financing Polytechnic Education, his children Dr. Nageswara Rao Vallurupali, Sri Vallurupalli Satyanarayana Rao, Sri Vallurupalli Rama Krishna, Smt. Polavarupu Lakshmi Kumari, Smt. Musunuri Padmaja have instituted three prestigious awards in his name and memory.
These awards are presented by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, and recognize academic excellence in Polytechnic Engineering Education across the state.
